My MusicOften I'm asked what music I enjoy listening to,what artists do I enjoy. So on this music page I'd like to introduce you to some of my favorite artists. This first song is performed by the Texas Tornados: Freddy Fender, Doug Sahm, Flaco Jimenez and Augie Meyers. Enjoy. LyricsRain dripping off the brim of my hatit sure looks cold today. Here I am walkin' down Sixty Six wish she hadn't done me this way. Sleeping under a table in a roadside park a man could wake up dead. But it sure seems warmer than it did sleeping in your water bed. |
Is anybody going to San Antone or Phoenix Arizona
any place is all right as long as I forget I never known her.
Wind whippin' down the neck of my shirt
like I ain't got nothin' on.
But I'd rather fight the wind and rain
than what I was fightin' at home.
Is anybody going to San Antone or Phoenix Arizona
any place is all right as long as I forget I never known her.
Yonder comes a truck with the U.S. mail
people writin' letters back home.
Well Tomorrow she'll probably want me back
but I'll be just as gone.
Is anybody going to San Antone or Phoenix Arizona
any place is all right as long as I forget I never known her.

Texas Tornados Elvis Presley
Tango
New Age
| I think everyone knows Elvis Presley, more or less. But you don't hear much of his songs on the radio these days. This songs is kinda rare... it was recorded Februari 1970 and released on the "On Stage" album. I really love the entire album, but I have some special memories hearing this particular song. LyricsIf I could be you, if you could be me For just one hour, if we could find a way To get inside each other's mind If you could see you through my eyes Instead your own ego I believe you'd be I believe you'd be surprised to see That you've been blind Walk a mile in my shoes just walk a mile in my shoes Before you abuse, criticize and accuse Then walk a mile in my shoes Now if we spend the day Throwin' stones at one another 'Cause I don't think, 'cause I don't think Or wear my hair the same way you do Well, I may be common people But I'm your brother And when you strike out You're tryin' to hurt me It's hurtin' you, Lord how mercy |
Now there are people on reservations
And out in the ghetto
And brother there, but, for the grace of God
Go you and I,
If I only had wings of a little angel
Don't you know, I'd fly
To the top of a mountain
And then I'd cry, cry, cry

Tango
New Age
| I have been dancing the Tango for a few months now. I find dancing the Tango is a good way of letting loose the troubles of every day life. This is a famous Tango in Holland, it is known from the wedding of Maxima and Alexander. (royalties) Note that this is not the version of the wedding. If you can see the minutes in your media player pay attention at 04.00... do you feel it? |

New Age
| This song was also introduced to me by a good friend, it reminds me of the days when I first began to practice with giving massages. New Age is mostly instrumental. If you have head-phones or a good speaker set up, listen to the stereo effects. This is a very good performance. |
